the latest media fueled mock outrage.

yet another criminal jackass that stole a bunch of soda's and waited on the sidewalk in front of the store he stole them from for the cops to arrive so he could get into a confrontation, they show up as expected and he immediately runs toward the car demanding that they kill him. pulls a knife, and continues at them getting himself killed as requested .

this one has the distiniction of being on video and showing the real story ( http://www.worldstaruncut.com/uncut/72743 ), which is why the media dropped virtually all coverage of it the next day, can't be a racebaiter for ratings and play the victim card with that story you see.

Ugh, I saw this video today. It's horrible that people can be trying to call these cops bad or racist. He clearly had a knife out and was more than close enough to kill that nearest cop if he had rushed at them. They were absolutely justified in shooting him to protect their own lives.

I heard about the first example too, not all the details, but that the cop had been attacked and received some bad bone breaks, including an eye socket fracture. That kind of assault warrants deadly force; I don't see how you can argue otherwise.

Our media likes to distract us from the real problems in our country by blowing up about other things like this one. Often, with the issues they pick they actually end up needing to partially or completely fabricate their facts in order to provoke more outrage than the event actually deserves.

Surveillance video like this is part of my job. I see some crazy stuff and sometimes things like this are so hard to review. Parents always try to make excuses for their kids. They always bail them out of jail. However I have caught an occasional juvenile that when the parent comes in my office, the belt, purse, or whatever they can grab is used to beat the child and there's nothing I can do.
