Who would have thought though? That's a novelty spin off of an already popular stream involving an entertainment and video game giant of a series that literally generations of children and now adults (probably the main audience, and I include "young" adults in that too).

This is a niche, grognardy, "hardcore" MMO that has a lot of heart. (And also isn't affiliated with the money represented by Nintendo, etc.)

Still, a lot of people who played nintendo games, for instance, played Harvest Moon. I played Harvest Moon, and found myself wanting more. (I am given to understand you can hit monsters and stuff in caves in the newer ones, but wouldn't know.) You can also get married, and that is in fact a major goal, but that's not really a "thing" here. I guess they could sell vanity jewelry or clothes for couples that played together or people who wanted to mark their characters as married in game. And I know of a guy who's wife played occasionally, for instance. She was pretty punchy honestly. But many "gamer wifes" are. They just don't always like the same games as their husbands. Which is fine. Not everyone likes the same games as everyone else.

in order to achieve something in salem alot of time needs to be invested into the game, worth it?
