PVP Warning

Postby troubleis » Tue Aug 19, 2014 9:31 pm

I'm all for PVP and permadeath, but for the noobs sake I think there should be like a popup the first time a character leaves Boston, similar to how you get a warning in EVE the first time you enter a PVP area for the first time. I can't take all the credit for this idea though, vienradzis and his screenshots on the scalp thread actually gave me the idea that noobs might need a bit more warning (although most lessons have to be learned the hard way so I'm sure he will stay very busy nonetheless :D )

South of Boston, down the coastline.

Treaties were made to be broken. Especially in a game inspired by the colonization of America.
(Not that the "Tribe" act much like Indians anyway. They are more flamboyant Luchadores than Indians.)

The new tutorial system will hopefully better acquaint players to the dire conditions of an open world PVP environment.

Yea, but I also agree with the pop-up. I trance around outside of boston and there is absolutely no pvp for me that I've experienced, but on the off-chance someone else who really doesnt know the boundries and is new and unfamiliar, let alone unlucky to get pounced outside the borders, a very distinct reminder would be helpful.
