at least i wont have to hear anymore of his politicized liberal *****.

Darwoth is proof that you can be good at things and still be a total douchecanoe.

Dude, being a decent human being and being successful aren't mutually exclusive.

Edit: grammar.

I know enough about it - it's an excuse for weak-minded to be a *****.

You're wrong and an idiot.
There is plenty of medical research showing significant differences in the brains of those with & without depression.

I'm not speaking for people who use it just as a random excuse, but there are definitely those with an actual issue.

hmmmmm, a grown man who has views that differ greatly than what the norm of society thinks, chooses to isolate himself in a virtual world for extended periods of time where he gets higher character numbers than most other people in the game. I feel like Darworth being regarded as a "douchecanoe" by people is symbiotic with his measure of in-game "success." Most people would take the time he spent gaining biles towards things like; raising a child, writing a screen play, being a valued member of the community, maybe even hobbies that are productive.

Depression is a mood.
Yes there are difference in brain activity between a sad man and a happy man, don't argue with that lol.
But if you kill yourself because something ain't going your way, then you are a ***** and a weakling.

What you have in mind is probably a depressive disorder or a dysthymic disorder, which are a bit of a different story.
Get your facts straight, yo!

Depression is the word for such a disorder.
Being sad isn't the same thing. Then again, why am I bothering explaining this to someone who'll just redefine words to fit his argument.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Depression_(mood)

Depression is a state of low mood...

For the mood disorder, see Major depressive disorder

You prove again and again that you have no idea what you are talking about.

You should probably have read at least the first part of that article.
"Depressed mood is also a primary or associated feature of certain psychiatric syndromes such as clinical depression."

In any case, in common conversation the various disorders associated with depression are grouped under this one word.
