horses and mass transit

So I notice if your on a horse you can pull a sled. It gets WAY behind, but it continues to follow you as long as its not obstructed. You can also put some space in between you and the sled and begin pulling another sled. Again, as long as its unobstructed it will follow you many map tiles to catch up. With fast enough fingers and no trees you can make a convoy and have it follow you home that way.

True but it will be blocked by an object in no-time :)

Yeah the only use full aplication I found yet for this would be back and forth travel from a mine, but all the stumps, trees, and logs have to be removed first. This was all with the birchbark sleds, with sturdy's I assume carrying 16 boulders at once would be somewhat easy, still faster than making multiple trips at least

I assume the same would be possible with carts? It would be even faster as you can build the chain off-road and then go on the road and have the cart speed dramatically increase.
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.
