homestead and movement

My home stead disappeared, are other people able to destroy it? Also movement gets stuck sometimes, might be because of lag.

Are there scents... and how long ago did you look for it?

If you are logging once/week... good chance it was wiped and the criminal act time limit was exceeeded... thus you see nothing.

Suggest you:

1. Log in often... at least 1/day
2. Make sure your rent is paid up (it's not a crime to destroy a claim that's expired)
3. Build a Town Bell... (not saying it still can't be wiped if you disappear for a week... but it's not a simple matter either)... And you will have to pay upkeep even more often with Bell.

This is often due to server processing slowdowns, though network issues can occasionally cause this.

This would be less an issue if Devs would start spitting out folks who are online and not active... as in AFK for hours at a time (like they went to bed)...

Just to clarify , when you say homestead are you referring to your leanto or a personal claim? Leantos can decay from not being on a personal claim or town claim. So if you mean your leanto, the best thing you can do is put down a personal claim to prevent decay of buildings. Also, someone can destroy your leanto, but that will leave scents. Personal claim stones can't be destroyed until they run out of money (unless that has changed and I'm not aware of it).

AFK people put almost no load on the server.

It's my leanto, nothing but a patch of dirt where it was before, other built items are still there. No scents, and when I try to teleport it says I have no homestead. I'm guessing it did decay. I just accepted whatever random place they put me whe I started the game.

Leantos can decay fairly quickly, so always make sure to keep it repaired.
