I find it hard to believe that a golden goose will only lay golden eggs, or at least lay them at the same rate as normal hens. If that was the case, in a short period of time, people would have numerous coops dedicated to only farming golden eggs and it would be an economy changer.

Before there is too much speculation about any perceived implementations that would threaten the economy. Just know that we have the ability to see everything that is sold to the stalls. It is also possible that stall prices would fluxuate with market demand. We will cross these bridges when we come to it. But we can assure you that we don't see coops full of golden gooses being a thing anytime in the near future.

No need to worry about us spamming Golden Geese. As I have 86 hens laying eggs and only 1 so far has became this special hen. And it seems this special hen does not lay golden eggs on the regular.

My next step is figuring out if the normal Gobbler will mate this golden hen, else, I will have to wait on RNG to lay me a male golden gobbler.

Seems more like an endgame source of income you slowly build to.

I wonder what the golden hens will sell for directly. Eggs themselves will likely sell for 35s each to an aggregator.

This. It was our view that once you established a large base there should be some way to at least make an attempt to have some form of semi-passive revenue to achieve so that the larger you build your base doesn't immediate equate to the more cricket grinding you do.
