*Suff undeniably lost his character to bug ABUSE.
*This Bug Abuse was committed by Paymaster Paul.
*Paymaster Paul (Ikpeip) was the first to report the Bug prior to abuse.
*Minutes later the Victims reported the Bug as well.
The Lost Character has been Restored.
Players who reported the bug have been given similar rewards to others who reported bugs.
Please keep in mind that there is a fine line between completely condemning bug abuse and encouraging exploration to help us develop this game. If you all live in fear that you may lose your accounts over a bug and never report it to us, or save it for maximum damage, then we are really only hurting ourselves. Alternatively, nobody wants to, and nobody should lose their character to something that is clearly our fault. Had the Paymaster NOT given me the bug prior to his actions, he would find his character killed, and his account banned. Please make the very careful distinction that while I highly disapprove with his decision to "abuse" what he found. He did not do so for any meaningful gain to his own character and did in fact tell me about it first. With his victim now alive and well, all is right as we are now aware of a very big game-breaking issue that we were able to mitigate.
