All things Bear

As it is right now, Bear skins have no use aside from selling them. Things that use hides in general don't count. You can use the ****** worthless hides for that.
What I mean is that you could make rugs out of them to place in front of your ovens,
you could also make a nice cape out of the pelt. Or hang it on your wall, kind of like a rug, but on your wall.

Buffing the bears would also be neat, they're kind of weak right now, what with them being the biggest strongest predator, they get absolutely raped by deer most of the time. Even a herd of turkeys can take on a bear.
Or make Bear Hares. Dire Bears? Bears that transform into a huge avatar of rape and death in the darkness once attacked, with a really low chance.

Maybe a bear which is perhaps more...Grizzly than usual?

How about the Ursus unimorsus amantiporcus(the the hyampom hog bear) it could live at higher elevations, hide in oak bushes and jump out and bite those that come to close before diving back into a bush.
Or the nearly invincible Gumberoo, a creature frequently mistaken for a black bear but with a hide so tough and elastic that whatever strikes it will bounce off with the same force as it struck the beast, even a bullet shot against its hide is sure to strike the hunter between the eyes.

I totally agree, bear hides are useless if you don't want to sell them, so rugs, capes and such would be a great thing to have.
I want a bear rug in front of my stove :-P
