Hello, after some thinking while waiting for my cricket to cook in my meatsmoker i realised something.
Why can't the meatsmoker smoke meat? Maybe add that? Make it so that it takes like 6 hours but it is much, much more healing than just roasted meat.
Another idea is to make items that are the same proficiency type easier to slot, for example a rough stitched fur patch on a frontiersman's duster. (I'm not sure if this is already in game but by my observations it seems it isn't, I might be wrong)
For the last idea i was thinking about wolves. They should always spawn in packs of 3-6, have hides that can be sold for 10s and have biles 15-20 each. Also they should always attack together making them very dangerous even to the strongest characters. They should also provide a brain.

So what do you guys think of these 3 ideas?
Are they good? Or should they be modified? Or should they just be thrown in the trash as soon as read?

Kinda scary, not sure if I'm getting trolled right now or not.

Meat Smoking and Wolves are both very much a thing on the dev schedule. Wolves almost identically to how you reference them. The first "pack" animal.

I've though of some other stuff that is bothering me or i would like to be added, and figured not to make another thread, so here goes once again.
1. Why do canoes stop going after a while when you travel with WASD? I mean you f.e press W and you go up but only for like 10 tiles, then you stop and you have to press it again. Can you make this not happen somehow? I mean make it stop when you release the button.

2.Make Bear skin used for something other than silver gaining, like rugs and capes. Seriously tho imagine how cool it would look to have a bear cape, with your face sticking out of the bears mouth :D

3.Make drinking water from a bucket actually do something, since now you have the options sip and drink when you right click a bucket, and they just waste your water instead of actually doing anything.

1. Has something to do with a peculiarity in how key presses are handled in the client I think.
2. Would be nice, not the biggest thing the game needs though imo.
3. Sipping water is used to more precisely tweak water in containers. Though it's a minor use.

Maybe drinking a few sips of water could speed up reduction on shroom poisoning or fear for a little bit.

That'd be a nice use... but doesn't address the seemingly useless functionality already in place.


Given the new Scalp #'s... thinking PVP has highest priority now. That and base defense given Tribe's exploit of current coding.

That needs priority. None of us may live to enjoy water buckets and wolves...

You realize that it takes a very large amount of time and resources and a good number of high humour characters to raid right now, even using cheap tricks, and when they 'fix' base defense they are likely to balance it so its not so absurdly difficult to raid.
