Congrats on finding my island!

In our spare time we hope to add a little bit of love and custom touches to the world. While it is interesting and impressive that the entire world can be procedurally generated, we do think a little effort in hand-crafting areas goes a long way. It is our hope that the community over time can begin navigating, identifying, and possibly even fighting over specific dev made land-marks.

Interesting concept, but also a very huge potential headache. I often see this sort of thing in minecraft servers (It usually fails there, but terrain is far more meaningless in such a game.)
It generally ends up benefitting only a select group and/or being far too much work to do in a world so large. On the other hand some interesting landmarks would take a lot of the boring out of exploration.

There are lots of islands but this one is out in the ocean I believe and has just been made.

As the river rolled over the cliffs, my own laughing joy was drowned out by the roaring deluge of the water. The great cataract of Darwoth's Tears fell over and over endlessly.

and now i went to the Capitol and the Checkers Board has changed. New people are getting things done. Loftar never even got around to making the windmills pretty. I'm liking all the terrain changes so far!
