Personally it matters little to me who now owns it as I no longer play and the planned updates do nothing to encourage me to return seeing as it seems the intention is just to drag out an already tiresome gaming experience, but if the tribe do now have an investment in the game at least you know it will get some care and attention and I do wish the new team, whoever they turn out to be, good luck.
That is sad to hear. What would you add to freshen the experience?
That's a hard question to answer as it's a lot more complicated than adding something to 'freshen' the experience and I'm talking from the perspective of a player and not a developer. I can say that I think it's less a case of adding new content, in terms of priority, and more a case of making the game faster paced, encouraging long term play and balancing current mechanics. How to go about that in the games current condition is almost impossible to answer, if it were easier then I'm sure Jorb and loftar would have a success on their hands rather than a game which, imo, is already far too broken to fix without major changes to it's very core.
Adding new content at this stage is the equivalent of placing a band-aid over a severed limb and simply serves as a placebo - which is not a bad thing pro tem - you hardly want to lose the few faithful left - but does nothing to encourage me I'm afraid and nor do the patches I've read about so far.
I'm sorry too.
