Where is your god now?

Well, to be fair, dynamic IPs tend to stay in a particular subnet (or a least a limited number of subnets), so that's actually a much lesser problem.

Correct but it's a little unfair to pin an entire subnet to one account right?

I just don't see IP adresses ever being the solution.

To be logically and exactly correct, it would, but it's certainly enough to provide hints on subversion.

No doubt.

Well I am not master in networking, but I think you misunderstand what I said, give me some IP being behind proxy and I will check it and see if that works or not :)

Clever you are using your own server as proxy :)
You have some blacklist problems? I found one record for that IP.
You also have dns server in there.

So it is possible to say you are using proxy or not, even if all your records like x-forwarded-for etc etc are not send by proxy ;)

No, I am in fact not; it's actually just my personal IP address, but the point I tried to make by giving it to you is that it could just as well work as a proxy for someone else. I could easily set up Jorb's computer to work as proxy for me, for instance; or any else of the multiple computers around that I have more or less control over. The point I'm trying to make is that there's no principle difference between a "proxy" and any other computer.

Loftar, one does not simply win an argument with DarnoQQ. Simply because he will keep going and going until his heart fails, even if he is wrong ;)

Not to be confused with the argumentative tactics of The Biddas, where you are cursed at in terribly broken english and called an idiot repeatedly until you give up.

That is indeed a horrifying tactic!
