I don't think so. Its actually a great idea for people who only use the darkness for hunting and exploring. Give it a much smaller area to fight back the darkness.

The reason is stupid.
It will make more easier game and it's not interesting.what is so hard to build leanto and forage this things even every 5 min .You can be still alive.
So this idea for lazy = people

I see that you don't understand the meaning of a hunting lodge. Why is it not interesting? It would bring people who normally don't deal with the darkness into without leaving thier old place behind. When/if a world resets you won't be pumping the church still like crazy. Newer people to the game will expand closer to the darkness.

Not everyone wants to live in the darkness but some of us enjoy going into it to explore and hunt. We want more then just making a leanto and have a terribly annoying mechanic to deal with due to it. Just because you think its lazy doesn't mean its a bad idea.

I agree with this idea. It's not that the church is overpowered it just has a big radius. We would like something more discrete to use when the purpose is not to build a town but rather an outpost to hunt, mine or forage.

You're all thinking as small child .
You have fewer and simpler but more importantly, no one thinks about the main game and it's a balance.
So I can confidently tell you.
You might just find easier game in which the game for all you will do.
Because of course that you do not have their own brains to expands the boundaries of balance.

For all my experience in the game the only time I was convinced that people want.
Suffice it to say they need a lot of blood from the developers.
