As it was said in the other thread. Posting in a public fashion isn't going to sway them. As the devs said its a clean slate. Additionally it was pointed out that it should be taken to PM if someone is interested in that position by a member of the mod team.

You're right it may not sway them but at least Claeyt put some effort in to his post rather than just "Claeyt for mod 2014" which is also what I stated you should have done, did I not?

Gimping a few fake pics to troll darwoth isn't something i would call effort. Had he made a poll you would see a very large margin on the no. What you should of stated is that I should of kept it to PM as it is by far more professional and would show that I have a serious interest in the position.

Another good reason why I think Claeyt would make a very reasonable mod as I also mentioned it isn't a popularity contest.

Correct its not a popularity contest. However ALOT of the reasons this forum was a terrible place to be was the unhappiness with the old moderation team. Most of them could not make a regular contribution to the community due to be harassed by members. If you want to see that vicious cycle then by all means....

That's only your opinion, for the most part the old moderation team did an excellent job in my view apart from the occasional mishap. The only issue the old moderation team truly faced was the inability to effectively punish those who the developers deemed unpunishable.

Why let anyone ban the people who would eventually buy the game though.

As always, Dallane, you've done nothing for the conversation or the game but improve your post count.
