I don't think Mereni ever tried to blame someone for anything else than their own mistakes. I don't know about english but in french we call that "mauvaise foi".
Trust your enemies more than your friends. Your enemies will never betray you.

It's just a figure of speech. If you're a woman, woman up? I don't know.

Mereni wrote:I don't understand what point you're trying to make here. Because I was happy to sign the treaty and be protected... something something, everything my fault?

No, by truth what I meant was of course a person who is happy to be controlled would think that others are more than willing to be controlled as well. The "take some responsibility" was more pointed towards your group as a whole.

Let me ask you a question Mereni, do you like to be dominated? I think you do.

Hmmm, never said I was happy to be controlled. When I paid the treaty last server, I got protection from others for a small fee, and it proved to be useful when someone was lurking outside my claim. I was definitely happy to be protected, which is a completely different thing.

Now you're just trying to be creepy. But, assuming you're really talking about politics here, I do favor a small government, but I am not an anarchist. This goes for Salem and RL. The tribe is a small government with few rules and this is a good thing, imo. There aren't even any taxes anymore. You, on the other hand, seem to think that we should have many rules for many situations, exceptions for new players, etc. even though we mostly can't tell who is new and who is pretending. Do you have any idea how complicated and dangerous a rule like 'don't kill newbies' could get?

Let me ask you a question, Kaios, are you a Democrat?

I'm a Human Being

Look, I'm not saying you should have a rule for this and a rule for that, but I don't think it's too much to ask to use your brains once in awhile. Occasionally consider the consequences of your actions and perhaps from time to time actually make a decision based on how it would affect not only yourselves but this community as a whole.

Or not.

When was this? Are you a member of the tribe? Did they just release this recently?

[quote="Babu"The onus is on all vets and leaders of any tribe or side to nurture newcomers. We should chalk this up to bad planning and poor timing and quit blaming. Invite the streamer back under new guidance and I'm sure it could turn out well.[/quote]
Why do you think it would turn out any different? Do you have some information about it if he did try again?
