I was beginning to wonder. :P Especially since HBO would lose most of the shows viewers if it made season 5 to follow book 4.
Considering the TV show's most loved characters don't appear much at all in that book (Jon, Dany, Tyrion)... The entire season would consist of drunken Cersei intrigues and Asha Greyjoy in a family dispute over her inheritance, and while I loves me some Cersei Lannister, she cannot carry the season herself. Unless she plays true to character and gets fat. I would tune in to see that.

Wrong. We're watching the second half of "A Storm of Swords" which is the 3rd book in his series.

Depends on what you think is climactic with out getting into the details, and the Iron Isles won't be touched this season.

It is blending into each other. Podrik joins Bryanne in book 4. They've abandoned the Riverlands storyline completely because of where the Hound and Arya are.

Technically you're right that this is partly book 3 but it's book 3 and 4 together. The point is that they can stretch it out forever but eventually the series will catch the books. In 2 years they'll be into book 5 and 6 together.

As the river rolled over the cliffs, my own laughing joy was drowned out by the roaring deluge of the water. The great cataract of Darwoth's Tears fell over and over endlessly.

It's pretty obvious you haven't read the books, Claeyt. Her name is Brienne.

It's a popular series- but his publishing rate is dismal. What many years between books?

Too many good authors die without ever finishing their prime series... think I'll wait until he actually finishes before I go back to it.

I'm guessing you're one of those who think our devs should only work on Salem as well? He does more than just the one series, you know. :P

I am making time to read the book but I love to ask what happens ahead of time and Binks won't give in.

It's pretty obvious Claeyt never has a clue. He likes to act like he knows what he is talking about but people figure out his **** babbles pretty fast. He just wants to be apart of the conversation is all.

Is anyone else annoyed they changed the actor for The Mountain 3 times? The first one was my favorite by far.
