Any an investor in Star Citizen? https://robertsspaceindustries.com/funding-goals

Their Dog-fighting module is due out in 4-6 weeks. It's another Sandbox still in the works. A crowd-funded game; but with... $43,750,000 in funding? Possible more every day and 200+ devs working on it. In that respect it won't have much on Salem.

Tribe succeeds on Jorb's indifference... as I see it. If Jorb was serious about building/maintaining population- Tribe would've have rage quit long ago... so I don't expect Tribe to be much interested in a truly dynamic game where Devs want population... where Devs set the minimal rules on who's a criminal and who isn't.

I'm quite sure there'd be TOO MUCH COMPETITION for the VERY poor Tribe. Likely...3D is too complicated... Tribe limited to 2D combat only Please list some other game where you think you could hold sway... that isn't a Jorb Dev game. Please do Tell?!

(If they can't be King...why bother)... that said, there are tons of opportunity for fiefdoms... if you are capable enough.

I find it strange I can't find a Tribe organization among SC's organizations yet... almost as if they are pathetic and worthless... in space...or air.

I'll definitely be giving it my time and continued contribution. If Tribe was too stupid not to step up... sucks I'll have one less competitor I want to kill; but I'm sure they will be others... always are.

Star Citizen is the future... Salem... the past. I didn't always think so... but Jorb is dedicated to making it happen.

12-24 months... Salem will be the Atari 64 game... and if that's your gig... go for it... but I intend to play in the present... SC is where it will being happening.

OH- and SC is a U.S. based game... I'm sure they will have a European option...and Russian... but home base is in the US... so players will have to abide by our rules to some extent! (The truly racist and bigoted can forget playing in the present- forum drama will not be a priority in SC forums)

Perfectly happy to leave old, desiccated... where they belong... forgotten games and worthless names... with no future.

Cry to Jorb... lot good that will do you.

Star Citizen is Pay to win, noob. No real gamer would touch it. Probably fine for you since mommy gave you her credit card.

Please feel free to buy some stuff off there and overthrow us with your purchases :).

Salem is about as far from P2W as it gets.

Oh yeah Salem is soo pay to win its ridiculous like seriously I could just go spend 1000$ on silvers and buy stuff from people and then make a base with said stuff, and then I can spend even more money on a kit with town charter like damn man please stop the pay to win...*takes breath* And then I can just sit in my heavily defended base and call it a day because no ones ever going to bother me, its okay that I just spent 1000+$ on this game to play it like a single player game...~
*Dramatic Scene Transition*
Idiot: Who are you guys?
Tribe Member #1: We are the tribe, you are living on sacred burial grounds, leave or we will take this place down.
Idiot: Oh yeah, lol you guys can't beat me I have the best base in the game, no doubt.

*Tribe Raids Base cause it was an idiot who didn't know how to play the game or build heavily defended bases*

THE END.
P.S. Idiot trys to commit suicide irl after this happens but is too much of an idiot and never learned how to play real life either.

What is insurance?
Pilots in Star Citizen can purchase insurance policies for their ships, modifications and cargo. This ensures that your ship will be replaced and/or its modifications and cargo will be subsidized should you be destroyed in a fight or accident. As in real life, insurance policies must be maintained: you must pay a regular fee in galactic credits (the in-game currency) or your policy will lapse and you will not receive a payout or a ship replacement when your ship is destroyed.

Can I use my insurance as an excuse to simply ram other ships to death knowing I will get my ship back?
You can.

Insurance is not hardcore.

Edit: From Star Citizen's FAQ
