Why? I don't have anything against the idea of monsters requiring a group of players to take on. Quite the contrary.

WHY? Because that's my opinion. :P It's not needing more people that I object to so much though. Argopelters are often hunted in pairs. I object to a 'boss' creature that only spawns once in awhile in one random spot on the map and needs an entire group to coordinate their schedules and run out to find it. That's a raid. IMO, if you want to go hunting even a tough darkness creature just on the spur of the moment, and 2 or 3 other people say 'okay', then you should be good to go assuming you all have the humors.

Don't listen to him, we need more PvE stuff that requires a coordinated group to take on effectively.

It doesn't sound like Mereni is objecting to PVE content per se, but the mechanic that a "boss" monster would have some sort of timer, rather than spawning like any other critter. If that is the case then I agree.

I'm doing that already, not using CryEngine though but Unity.

Only thing I'm lacking is 3D modeling skills or an artist and loads of money for some licenses & people who need to be payed
This is the best i can come up with:

On topic, current Salem is indeed broken.

Jorbtar took their best looking baby and gave it some plastic surgery (they might think it's better but it's far worse than pre-patch!!!)

Here's an image that visualizes what happened to that baby:

May I ask why these nice creatures never been added, assuming they were nearly done.

For instant I would like to get some decent PVE. I have lost my interest in this game, haven't logged in for quite awhile.
We finished our base, actually 2 decent bases, did some small raids and glutton up a few alts to around 100 biles.

Previously I only played for the drama, now its quite hard to statisfy my needs. Raiding was never easy, for instant https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RR9up4ZsASI took us 5 real-life days, around 12 hours each day. We also had a few KO'd players by the crits from the braziers, most characters were around 600 biles. Hopefully it will give you some insight about the difficulty of raiding, now with the last major update everything became impossible.

You said it yourself: ''I can use the clue to summon him in the game and kill him even when he's offline.'' The waste claims kinda ruined that, I would also add that raiding never really been worthwhile, the drama was the reason to raid, people would always alt stack their precious stuff.

Its a fact that I have had the biggest losses in Salem, it did not made me hate Salem in fact it increased my love for Salem every time I came out stronger.

Thanks for reading, just wanted to share my opinion.

While i know this is free to play game. I do appreciate that. Many of us sink quite a bit into it, because we love it.

Just in my opinion, game has so much potential. Hate to see Seatribe quit it.

I haven't been here for awhile, I gave up on Salem a long time ago and returned to Haven, which imo is far superior, though Salem is not without some good points.

I have to admit I was quite surprised by Jorbs immediate responses here, the last time I looked in you were all excited about the revamp and I fully understand some of the disappointment in this thread, as someone else said, may have been Kaios, we felt the same when they 'abandoned' Haven for here, lol, but most of us came over and gave it a go, maybe some of you who haven't should give Haven a try and not let the experience here put you off, it is after all the original. :)

The difference I feel here is that more expectations were in place, the game had outside involvement and funding and player real money was involved - though I know they got it back - and I do feel the devs have more of a responsibility towards the player base under those circumstances. Which is why I understood Haven had to be put on a back-burner.

However,

The situation is totally different now, the outside party has withdrawn and when the devs have tried all that they can to improve upon the game and are not able to do so there comes a point when they either have to give up completely or take a step back, it is pointless to keep implementing changes for the sake of it at the risk of continuing to make things even worse. It's not like they haven't put a lot of effort into trying to fix things and over an extensive time period.
Those of you who are berating them for failing should be ashamed of yourselves, every single one of us will fail at something sooner or later, it's hardly intentional. You may be disappointed but think how they feel!

Actually, Jorb already said that ........................

As for returning to work on Haven, it is only natural that they return to Haven whilst they take a break from Salem, game making is what they do, maybe working on Haven again will inspire a better future for Salem. The perfect game would be a mixture of both games imo, as others have suggested, though obviously depending on the mix, lol, just imagine the worst of both!

I feel sorry for you all though and sorry for Salem - it's a real shame. I hope you do eventually end up with the game you want after all the support you've shown it. :)

And I hope we get a better Haven too, which btw is looking quite Salemesque - :|

Could be worse, broham! but I doubt you actually need quite that many vertices. There's a reduction modifier you can throw on the mesh if you want to see what it would look like at a lower vertex count without actually changing the raw data. :)
