bad luck or low profs?

Postby paljarro » Thu May 08, 2014 9:01 am

currently my farm char is at around 55 FR&W, 100 S&C and 49 NP, was bit lower 3 days ago.

From the 16 cutlings I planted, only 4 sprouted and it has been like this all the time not really enabling me to raise purity of trees since I waste more cutlings as I make.
I assumed that around 50 profs, the successrate would be around 50%, just like with hammer and nails but maybe its 50% at cutting and 50% at planting, dropping my estimated rate indeed to like 25% with profs around 50.

Im wondering if anyone has any idea if im having bad luck or if you need your profs much higher (100-150) to be able to do forestry succesfully?

Rise at least your F&W and NP because S&C seems as fine. As I remember I had troubles on your stats also, so rise S&C by 50 and other by 25 at least. U'll see the difference

When my stats reached about 80 in the three I was getting very few twigs, and at my present levels I am getting very rare twigs (above 120 in all three) so yeah basically push those stats and good luck

NP is probably the most important, as it counts both when you cut sprouts and when you plant them

This is what I noticed as well (on the old server) - natural philosophy is more important than the other two.
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.
