I would love your time and patronage, but apparently this product cannot presently earn it. What do you want me to do? Beg? Don't insult me, and don't suggest strategies that aren't going to work anyway.

A game like this is a big ship. Turning it around requires a lot of work. We have tried to, but we cannot keep trying unsuccessfully forever. The solution to the problems this game has is not -- in my opinion -- to go back to some previous implementation that we didn't like either, but to go back to the drawing board and try again. We do not at this junction have the time to do that, which is why I feel compelled to defer it to the future.

Do you honestly believe that whatever disappointment you might feel exists on an order of magnitude that is even remotely close to my own?

I honestly liked most of the new changes. The terrain changes were nice, some of the new items are fun. I like the spiders even if they are pretty useless for loot. I just wish you could implement little things that you've already made. Why not have roses and the Rock armor? Why take them out? Why not add the squonks, horses, the hide-behinds and all the other things you've already dev'd but never added. Hell, why not just add simple little things every couple of weeks just to let us know you're still working on it. I'd be happy with a new hat now and then.

The purity grind is almost the same as last world and the raiding system did need to be changed. Some of the PvP guys have realized that they can't raid whole towns now so instead they're hunting people outside the towns and roaming the world looking for stuff they can hit.

...and again, if you are going to wipe or abandon or whatever, let us know so you don't alienate all of us who have stuck with the game. If you're making a new HnH fine, if it's 3-d and similar to Salem, I might even give it a chance.

Meh, I've tried Hnh and didn't like it. It didn't seem as fun. I've always said that they should combine the two. The HnH world and food system with Salem's 3-D terrain and inspi system.

Huh!? I think this is the real problem - you don't realize what is wrong so you keep starting over (or wanting to). And since you don't have time to start over, the game languishes.

Why don't you try implementing the long hinted content, and tweaking existing content for balance? The whole point of this last redo was to make it more meaningful to add in more gaming dimensions.

it's soo nice to see you say this!

there are some really good things with existing content and i think some tweaking could make a massive difference to how fun this game is, if you could just please try to make the time to do it.

Yeah I started playing 2 worlds ago and ya'll had horses then. Just dump in all the stuff that has been "in the works" since the pre-first age world.
