No there were no wild boars in New England during the colonial period. That's a fact. There are smal populations of feral pigs living in remote regions of New England now, but they were introduced quite recently. They did have pigs in colonial New England and they were problematic at times so I can understand how you might get confused.

This however is not my point. Yes this is a creative game, but it is based off Colonial New England. My point is a question, where do you draw the line. Would you be fine if you logged in an the devs added giraffes, or would that go against the feel of the game? For me boars, an old world animal, goes against the feel of this game. I understand for you it might be different but you should think about where you draw the line for what is cool and what starts go take away from the feel/tone of th game.
