Can you put in order of importance and also why,i really thank you for info,ive looked but don,t see naything in detail . thank you

Not really sure what kinda of info you want. I guess if you're looking to settle, most people like to settle near Lime for the smelting and the farming. Clay is used for a few things. Stone can mostly be gotten from the dross of your smelting.

If that's not what you're looking for, go here to see all the uses of the different stones and decide for yourself.

is it real important to set a claim next to water i have a big limestone biome close but not sure if i should put the claim on the river or next oo lime

It's not all that important to be next to water. It's good for fish traps, but you can walk a screen or two to check your traps. And if you're thinking of water for cooking and things, either use Boston for 0% stuff, or go searching for a high percent water spot. You will not settle next to high percent water.

It also used to be dangerous to settle near water because you'll surely be seen by someone using that river or lake to travel. But now, with the map so huge and so many leaving the game, you're probably save no matter where you decide to put down.

It's better to be near lime than clay because you can make decent clay. Stone and rock not very important at all to settle near.
