Lets pray people who think that never read the books lol.

"Game of Thrones" may get a bad reputation for the gore and sexuality, but the storylines, production, and acting are superb, which is more than can be said for most of the viewing choices in an era when Honey Boo Boo is on The Learning Channel.

This is exactly Ariel/Peter Pan/one of others same great heroes!" or on the contrary some really unexpected choices, like hot captain Hook for instance. However season 1 is kinda boring, atleast the our world part, I even wanted to drop at some point, but later plot is getting much better.

Yeah I'm sure you really enjoyed watching "As The World Turns" back in the golden years of the 1950's and 60's. Nice comparison I suppose but maybe you could have chosen something that started in this era. I think the Evil Queen plays her role well.
I never said Game of Thrones had a bad reputation and in fact I watch and absolutely love the series. I was just implying that there is no way every other show will be as good as Game of Thrones but you have to take what you can get especially in this day and age. Not watching something simply because it seems childish at first or some other random adjective is exactly how a great series goes undiscovered until it is cancelled.grapefruitv wrote:And also there is amazing cast. I agree on both points. I too found the first season a bit dry at times but it does pick up eventually especially when
Lost Girl and Atlantis are a couple of other shows I've watched and enjoyed before as well. Atlantis is fairly new.

I wasn't calling you old, in fact I was implying that obviously you were not even born yet when that show started, neither was I. Your comparison was simply pointless because you missed the entire idea behind what I was saying.
You're trying to compare good with amazing, I am merely trying to point out the positives about a show I enjoy.
If anyone is a member of the lowest common denominator, it would be your overreacting ass.

The way you worded your response was very *****, much like this last one was. Either you're really bad at expressing yourself properly, or you're just confrontational by nature.
Either way, the only thing you said that I was responding to was the description of "Salem" from IMDB
You're the one who got his panties twisted over my tongue-in-cheek critique of "Once Upon a Time," and I simply answered your ***** with a dose of my own. Obviously, you're one of those who can only dish it out, so allow me to apologize. Your television viewing choices are top-notch, and you're an excellent communicator. Chin up, kiddo.
