If that is what the system on HnH is, its the way we should go too. It would be nice to "work off" full and fed, and good idea. No more issues with glut cooldown. Active players can enjoy the benefits of playing as far as biles go and then maybe have something for insp points too.

HnH's hunger system is terrible, it leads to people having to run exercise to stay on top, this system is bad but atleast its not HnH levels of terrible.

LOL USING RUN TO EAT IN HAVEN!

learn to plow bot.

Haha, yeah that would be too slow. I meant to type "run exercise bots" but some how forgot the bots part.

Yeah I totally agree that something has to be done about the fed debuff and the super slow inspiration gain.

My group spends 95% of our time online waiting for inspiration to recharge and to be able to increase our humours again. Its extremely limiting, and makes the game boring. You literally spend like 30 minutes foraging/studying and then you have nothing else to do and log off for the rest of the day.

"want to study that singing log? Gotta wait 2 and a half hours"

Yeah I know I can increase regeneration rate, but there is a ridiculous limit to that too, the fed debuff. You increase it by like 2 levels and then have to wait 6 hours to be able to increase it again.

I really don't see the point in adding these new limits, without them the game would have been perfect after the reset and new system.

If studying and feasting is the only gameplay you are interested in, then there's something else wrong with the game other than the Full and Fed up debuff and inspiration gain rates. If you have to complain complain about the lack of content when waiting on the timers rather than asking to be distracted with feasting/studying that ultimately will cap and leave you with playing the game you can't get more than 30 minutes of gameplay out of when not eating/studying :P

Yeah, I disagree with this Hunger idea. I like the new Gluttony system for the fact that almost all foods are now relevant to Gluttony instead of just a few. It's not that difficult to tailor your debuff around your play times.

I really don't see how the previously mentioned issue of just ending your gluttony session after each food could be avoided. Unless it just removed the entire hunger as soon as the session is closed. But really, how does that make it better than having a debuff? Especially when that debuff can be fairly easily tailored to last 5 hours or 12 hours or a full day or more?

No, building is the game play I'm interested in. But there is absolutely nothing to build because I can only build like 3 different structures.

What am I suppose to do? Sit around and build a thousand leantos, drying racks, and fire pits while I wait for my inspiration to recharge? I'm trying to unlock new structures so I can build a base but the limitations don't allow me to.

Find a better place to settle. You're way too close to Boston right now. That should occupy a couple days of your time.

I spent two days traveling and setting up camps before I found a suitable place to settle. Now I want to build.

They should get rid of the F&F timer, instead, the food groups should take time to restore, this would actually give them more purpose and make the mechanic much more meaningful.

That's... a horrible idea. The food groups have a meaningful mechanic now, getting a reduction in that group makes it less effective if you eat something from that group again.

If you had them also each have a buff instead of one buff for the total, you'd have those buffs wearing off all the time at different times and make it very difficult for anyone to gluttony effectively, except maybe those few who can log in any time of the day all day long. No one wants that.
