you're not the only one who laughed...honestly why do noobs turn on criminal acts without atleast reading the guide first?

I think you mean inspiration. We don't have curiosities in Salem XD . (Sorry, couldn't resist)

What guide? I'm pretty sure everything I learned about criminal acts came from hearsay on the forums and first hand experience.

Ayup. I don't see any in game tutorials on the subject and there isn't a forum discussion about it either.

I honestly consider the concept of being forced to turn on "Criminal Acts" to do such things sufficient warning.
It's been neat to see the evolution of a game. Salem has come so far, and still has far to go. Although frustrating, I think it's been an experience worth the effort.

Well, there is a discussion about it, but no guides. I believe jorb has agreed that there needs to be some sort of in-game manual about what using criminal acts entails.

Well...to be fair, you are also forced to turn on swimming (and even take a skill). And until yesterday, swimming didn't have any risk.
