ESO is a good standard fantasy MMORPG, but a TERRIBLE Elder Scrolls game. We have enough Fantasy MMOs, this game deserves to die in a fire. Anyway I'm pretty sure Zenimax and the Investors know AND have planned it will go Free2Play in around a year. If they start off with a sub they get a majority of launch player's 15 dollar. (I'm under the impression that Launch is when games usually have the highest numbers of players) Then after an easy switch to F2P they get the benefits of both. From a Business stand point I couldn't see why they would launch with a Non-Subcription model.
BTW Clyat, 80% of my time in pvp was composed of walking to the keep. As a whole even capturing the keeps felt pointless and meaningless, yeah i can "turn it into a guildhall" by having a guild banker there but all it is is another npc.

I wouldn't call it "good standard," just "standard." I've seen f2p theme parks with more fun and excitement out of the gate for a tenth of the budget. (do agree with the pvp comment, though. Stupid... The only way I can see changing my mind is if my future mount will get me between A and B in under a minute or there's some massive improvements to those camps.)

Learn to buy a field camp tent for guild invades. :D

I've been playing it occasionally. It's enjoyable.

game is designed for people who are **** just like all the other themepark games that have no risk, bindpoint rushing, massive forced team zergwars as the "pvp"

watching that video with the annoying retard in it tells you all you need to know as soon as you start seeing the warcraft style quest log ticking down for kills earned by his group 4 miles on the other side of the map, everyone gets a trophy and the losers usually get the biggest and shiniest one in the modern day mmo

Soooo....

You haven't even tried it.

You're only going by what your guild mates say? Why do they say it's bad if they're still playing it? ESO was made for guild on guild battles.

Sometimes I wonder what it's like for you to go through life with such massive negativity Darwoth. I'm amazed you're able to get up in the morning with so much overall hatred of the world.

i have "tried out" a dozen ****** themepark games just like it and know what i am looking at without needing to play it ******* thats why. as for my guildmembers the ones playing it do so because.....

1> they are in their mid 30s with kids and 60 hour a week jobs thus only have time to play a ****** themepark game, of which elder scrolls is the newest and shiniest.

2> enjoy figuring out ways to ***** with people in games like that which are designed to prevent you from being able to do so, we even have a guy that went and bought an xbox SOLELY for the reason of playing racing games where he would drive backwards smashing into ragenagers and ***** their ranked laptimes up while they screamed at him on voice chat
