Question about townbell

Postby ahmalik » Sun Mar 30, 2014 3:17 pm

Hi so as far as i know other players cant build anything on my personal claimed area so if i extand my personal claim enough so that town bell range cant get to my claim that way others cant capture my area with town bell thats assuming they cant build boundry stones or cross of saint george on my claimed area. So is it possible?

I know you're asking wether it's possible, and I confess to not knowing exactly, as soon as the town overlaps with the pclaim they might have clearance to build boundry stones. The question I want to ask you though, is have you considered that the cost of pclaiming a 110x110 or so area is likely higher than the cost of a vclaim of your own?
Exactly 6.022 x 10^23 worth of Lach molecules.

Getting the townbell is not the problem its upkeep is soooooo expensive than personal claim and i rather not have to pay for both personal claim and town bell on my own. Still need confirmation if townbell overlapping on my personal claimed area (not personal claim stone) allows them to build boundry stones on my claim or not.

for large amounts of land, a town bell is actually cheaper than a personal claim.
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

Not when we have to pay the upkeep for both personal claim and town claim both.

They could build boundry stones and such around your Pclaim, but it will be hard.

building it around my claim wont be large enough to reach my personal claim stone so as long as they cant build it ON my personal claim they wont be able to capture it but i still need confirmation that they cant build it boundry stone on my claim before i do this.

You don't need to pay for the upkeep on both the pclaim and the town just the town and a town is cheaper and is much better for defense.
I have not tried to build a boundary stone on someone else claim to attack them, mostly because anyone who has that much area claimed is typically smart enough to build a bell, but there is no reason to believe that you couldn't.

but if there is only town bell and no personal claim then the braziers dont attack other players who try to break in atleast thats what i read mostly on the forums. I know they would need to build waste claim to attack but still if they do it then i would have no defense at all right.

Thats not how it works and you can even still use your pclaim you just don't need to pay it once you have to town.
