The evidence you're after is 'Evidence of Murder'. (This lasts for the longest period, 90 days iirc)
No it does not tell you the perp's name. However you can use it to track their homestead or current location. If they don't have a homestead you can summon them from anywhere, instantly killing them in the process.

Nope, unless he wants you to. But you can memorize his character (it is probably an alt) but with some spy work you might be able to determine who is behind it.

I thought instant kill happens only is the criminal doesnt have a homestead.

you can memorize him if he is using a Pclaim for his homestead by using control right click on the Pclaim to memorize.

Also knowing a name in Salem does not matter because names are not unique and you can change your name at any time.

İ wanna say thanks to all. I have found evedince of murder and evidence of battery. If i find his claim, in what way can people help me ?

Also, if there is a community or town that would welcome me, i would like to join.
