Just remember everyone I truly believe that the devs read and hear the player base. So don't be afraid to speak up here. Let's get the player vs player going. One thing that I have noticed is the lag. Sometimes it is so bad, I get ko'd from a deer. Anyone else having this issue while hunting?

The most obvious point is that one brazier now does what used to be maximum brazier damage. This is retarded.

I explained to as why a single brazier can knock several toons stupid atm, how any of it coorelates to crack rock and smoking yourself stupid, is super obvious ¦] . Now, how do you overcome this?

CLAEYT, that dude can raid any base right now. He is the boss of bosses, knows all mechanics inside and out. With jsut his team of russians, they can raid any base. All fear him. Gangster, crack rocks.

His understanding of brazier mechanics is ***** legendary.

if you are using kandarims client, when you switch characters or teleport too often it makes the client lag alot, just use enders for your alts and latikai for combat (assuming you were using latikais)

I think my sig kinda describes the current pace of gameplay well.

I do feel that the fed up timer is a reasonable attempt by our devs, at trying to slow down gluttony at higher levels, in such a way as to make it harder, for older toons / no life players, to get so very far ahead in biles of more recent toons, or more casual players, that it removes all incentive to even try to get in the game. A 80 bile char vs a 100 bile char can still be a fun battle while a 80 bile char vs a 300+ bile char cannot.

But it is boring. And there is unbalanced braziers. And the current purity system has no intuitive connection to it at all.

Try using search instead of asking people to repeat what has already been said 1000 times.

What makes this thread any better, or more likely to cause change than any of the threads that already contain the discussion you're asking for?

They read and hear but generally don't care. They have a vision that generally doesn't go off course.

I'm actually playing HC D3 now for the xpac. Dunno how long it will keep my interest but it's certainly a better perma death game than salem currently. (which is really ***** sad)

It too makes me sad that Blizzard of all companies is now running a more hardcore game than SeaTribe.

Good evening,

I find the diminished risk level pretty disappointing as well. Before waste claims, there was a legitimate fear of death and destruction coming at any time.

Defenses kept getting buffed and buffed, and actual raiding turned more into an espionage game (or a "wait until they make a Judaism-level mistake" game).

With the new server's mechanics, I don't think you can really label Salem an open-world, open-PvP MMO. Every claim with properly built walls and a brazier is as safe as Boston.

Faithfully,

I think firewater had a lot to do with this thread, as well as a little bitterness that could have been avoided had all of the townies just been more vocal and cooperative. At any rate, I tried apologizing for my part in the bitterness, but there was some firewater involved that night as well and I believe it went unnoticed. But I digress. To the point, a bit of advice to improve your Salem gaming experience: hermit. I like to think I got to know a bit about your gameplay style in the short time we played together, and it seems you're like me in that you expect people in your town or group to play their role and stand by their word. And then when it doesn't happen that way for whatever reason, we tend to get angry at them and let the resentment grow until we're lashing out (in this case, quite publicly) or avoiding them altogether. So my advice? Hermit until you have murder, then kill everyone you hate. Seems to be the trend in this game. These new friendships will probably last as long as our group did under these distrustful and backstabbing atmospheric conditions, and once everyone has murder, the old world will be reborn and everyone can sit in Boston wearing clothes they bought in packs and waxing poetic about the proper way to play Salem, all while being too nervous to forage anywhere off the Boston claim. Hope this helps.
