Claim Upkeep

Postby captspaulding » Tue Mar 18, 2014 12:33 am

Hey everyone,

I see some forum posts regarding this, but with all of the new changes I'm not sure if they're still valid.

What is the best way to figure out what your upkeep cost is for your claim?

What is the best way to estimate what your claim will cost for upkeep per day if you were to expand it to a certain size?

Also, if it's going to cost me 200S to do an upgrade, does that 200s dissapear, or does it somehow end up in the upkeep pool?

Thank you!

Silver used to purchase additional tiles goes into the claim, never to be returned (except under very special circumstances which are unlikely to ever occur).

Upkeep was calculated at 4+ (no. of claimed tiles/300) or similar, however I seem to be a little rusty so if I'm wrong hopefully someone will post the correct formula. The claimstone will store a maximum of two months worth of upkeep at one time.

As of right now claims require upkeep to the tune of 4s + (Claimed Area / 300)s per day. If the upkeep is not paid, the claim is turned off and the stone itself becomes possible to destroy. You can charge the claim with enough silver to last 2 months. Previously existing claims will be charged to last one month.

...

Any silver used to expand will not go into your silver pool. It's just at the start that you are given 120 silver in the pool so you don't immediately have to start worrying about upkeep.
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.
