"Good" fix, Jorb. You know- you should better make a new wipe, after find a bug and fix it, then wipe again. 3weeks world are so nice. Kinda- better to do a fix after 1year of asking (like that was with cornmeal, useless now as we don't have it). You should better stop Salem at all as every patch only forces us to think that "King is Crazy"

My first mine, found with a woo woo wand, was 33%.

They wiped for improved map gen and instead we get a rock biome that doesn't spawn ****

the newly introduced biomes are obviously very unfinished.

You do realize that we added them pre-emptively to have the ability to flesh them out more down the road, right? I prioritized making three terrains far above fleshing out one, so that I might in a few months have three new terrains rather than -- again -- one. This is quite obviously the right call.

Do you even test your bug fixes? Purity on boiled items works the same as it did before the patch.

Not after the next restart. :P

basically 100% flat, the terrain has very little character now.

You'd rather dig? I wouldn't.

mountains are nothing more than hills now, before they resembled something of an actual mountain creating bottlenecks.

Previously they were effectively dead terrain which could not be interacted with at all.

there are no more neat areas with features like the tall "pedestal" cliffs of the old world.

Darwoth's Tears is a pretty neat area.

biomes are to small and jumbled together.

Disagree completely. The biomes are placed in a much more varied fashion, providing for far better variety and points of interest when traversing the map. I have actually had some Wanderlust on these maps, which is a new experience entirely.

On the subject of purity.. have you made any alterations to the foraged items purity zones?

the lime i forage has changed purity from next to nothing to 2% :)

Bu then i have been finding Blackberries next to each other with massively differing purities.. so maybei have had 2% lime all this time but never found it :(

Oh and is there an ETA to well purity yet?

My sides just shot into orbit.

Number one tourist spot in the new world.

why bother? this game already has awful word of mouth to begin with. the developers are regarded as highly incompetent on almost every gaming venue that mentions salem or haven.

its pretty clear after three years that they have no intention of ever making salem a legit game (nor do they have the ability to). it's just supplemental income for them from all of the tribe's cash shop purchases.

Hate to say it after all the work I've put in, but I think a map wipe at this point wouldn't be unwise or too bad. It's obvious humours have been exploited with no doubt alot of other things like skills, without a map wipe everyone is going to be complaining for months about how exploiters dominated the early game and now have an un-catchable lead on everyone who didn't abuse the bug. Overall its would be better for everyone to just start again, its only been a few weeks since the last reset anyways.

I vote for a map wipe.
