Tribe's accomplishments or lack there of having nothing to do with Dev's arbitrary decision- I was all ready to accuse my base mates of robbing me blind... knowing everyone got screwed is just marginally better to live with.

I don't think their done ***** us over. I'm sure there's something else on the horizon. My interests in playing just went to nothing at all.

I'll save what little I have in tools on an alt and revisit the game in 6-12 months or never.

So much for the big, new game Jorb...

When you ***** up this bad- better to start over than rub faces with your arrogant BS. Don't dare look up and wonder wtf when cream is on your's.

Had a group ready to join me. Feel bad for them; I'll leave bit of silver; but I'm bailing... left them a sign.

I wish them luck... but reality is the only place they are going to find it... away from this POS game.

They wiped for improved map gen and instead we get a rock biome that doesn't spawn ****, spider biome that doesn't spawn **** and spiders that don't do ****, and a willow Biome with trees that don't do ****. On a map far too large for any meaningful player interaction.

It makes no sense to wipe for infinitely ***** map-gen. Lets just fix it and wipe again until they get it right.

the map was the main reason for the wipe, and it is.......



far to large

bad design, immediately evident by the river placement around town, spotty beach width or the massive ridge stretching north/south

basically 100% flat, the terrain has very little character now.

mountains are nothing more than hills now, before they resembled something of an actual mountain creating bottlenecks.

there are no more neat areas with features like the tall "pedestal" cliffs of the old world.

biomes are to small and jumbled together.

the newly introduced biomes are obviously very unfinished.




how about a new announcement titled "damn it, we ***** up again" announcing that in a week you will be redoing it properly this time before you have everyone invest thousands more dollars and hundreds of hours of time into the game just to wipe it in a year again because of these same issues.

i think biomes are nice this way, otherwise you'd endup being far away from 2 or 3 types... long walks just to forage? no thanks, this way is better

Agreed. Map size is nice too. Darwoth and tribe mad they have to travel to raid.

Chief has a point about lack of spawns in new biomes.
