I just tried to log out after trespassing on the Tribe's base South of Boston... I committed 6 acts and tried to log out on unclaimed land as well as the boston claim. I could not log out. Maybe I did something wrong. Can anyone confirm?

Yes, it does say you can regain humors why you have a crime debuff.

Does this mean raiders can activally regenerate biles Why they are raiding / under brazier fire ?
Does this mean now they only need to take 1 step off a claim to regenerate biles ?

It makes raiding a base x1000 less time consuming, and imho the way the braziers work now make raiding bases @ the start of this server very hard, but as the server progress's, in about 6 months current defenese and machanics will be worthless, and it will be back to its normal ***** again, if anything worse than before.

This is what first came to my mind but... Every stick has two ends. This will make criminals easier to hunt and destroy there bases. They cant change home with crime debuff and there base will be easy to raid as well, no more criminal vaults. There is though the question of alts. Since this will lead to "blood feuds" the side with more prepared alts will most likely win. What could prevent this is making crimes against criminals scentless (No idea how can that be applied but at least they should let you do whatever you want with intruders on your land carefree).

Maybe we will get brick or iron or copper walls to slow down raiders.

If we don't get stronger walls I think what will happen is you will see bases build same number of braziers as before. The goal of defense in depth being to ensure your braziers have chances to deal critical hits to biles. Critical hits are much more meaningful at later stages as just one will likely result in weeks of gluttony to recover.

I think the important thing to note with these changes is how much easier it will be for a victim of a raid (such as a hermit) to move and rebuild. Hermits shouldn't be unraidable, they should be vulnerable and that should be an inherent part of the hermit experience. (IMHO)

Larger towns and factions should have able fighters to actively defend their home, and retaliate where possible. There are new and old mechanics now in place to support this.

There's the issue of timezones, though. Russian and American groups can raid each other with almost no resistance.

All the schoolkids, all the unemployeds and all the nolifers who would willingy skip breakfast just so they can get one or two hits in on that claim, so, a big chunk of salems population.
