For the sake of Russia I hope you do not get Drafted. I imagine one angry Biddas could build a wall tall enough to block in Russia for centuries to come.

U.S. European forces have been put on 'High Alert'. Lithuania and Latvia have invoked Article 4 of the NATO treaty which has only been done 20 times before. Polish Forces are pushing towards the Ukrainian border. Turkey is debating closing the Dardanelles to Russian shipping over the 12% of the Crimean People who are Tartars. NATO forces won't enter a war with Russia over Crimea but they probably would over Kiev. You have allies.

I think Putin's occupying Crimea and threatening the East but is only hoping for the Crimea. He's made a huge mistake. Sanctions will follow until he leaves and Crimea is restored and Yankovich's crimes and stolen billions will continue to come out. There's a reason you haven't seen him standing next to Putin yet. It's because Putin knows he's corrupt.

Hahahaha. You think that's why? It doesn't matter whether or not Yanukovych is corrupt; what matters is: what does Putin think he can win by appearing side by side with Yanukovych.

Nothing else.

The difference is that Putin is finally alone. There's no need to placate him anymore. Russia stands alone at the end of the world with a third of their population hating the guts of the other 2/3 just like during the cold war. I wouldn't be surprised in the least if Ukraine actually wins against them. Half the Russian army is in the Caucus fighting and slowly bleeding out from the last 2 wars. and Ukraine's army is less than half of what's facing them across the Russian Frontier. If Putin doesn't leave the Crimea, Russia's economy will collapse because it won't be able to sell oil and gas to Europe after the Sanctions come down.

The Oligarchs are watching as the Swiss and Austrians freeze the Ukrainian Oligarchs bank accounts instantly and Cyprus banks are part of the European Union.

I think Russia have proven in it's past that it doesn't need a functional financial system to win wars. I could be wrong though, I'm no history buff.

Don't watch too much TV guys, Ukrain was captured by bandits for several weeks now and if people would like better to join Russia then to stay under plain bandit rule - its a good choice.
Why no European army helped to withstand the armed bandits 2 weeks ago? Politics is a **** thing, do not watch TV guys, its mostly ***** in there.
Btw, watch Wag the Dog film, it is really good on this matter.

Good luck to all Ukrain and Russian people, hope they would through down all the bandits, and for the European sake - better they stay out and let us clean our own mess ourselfs.

And btw, there could not be any VS in here, most of Ukrain and Russian people are the same People.

They called many of the Revolutionaries in the British Colonies bandits, traitors, and many other things, but look how things turned out. It's a hard situation, and I don't want to see another war break out in the area. There's been too much crap in the area over the last several hundred years with no signs of letting up any time soon.

will agree with the TV being *****, though. Too many talking heads with too many barely substantiated opinions, but there's truth to be had there if you know how to filter out the bull and get to the heart of the matter.

No matter which side of the line people fall on, I hope everyone can stay safe. It's all just power games and the common man just wants to live his life in freedom.

The common man is willing to take bribes, implement nepotism, favors heavy censorship of views that he does not agree with, is xenophobic, is very much willing to screw most over if it helps him and his family.

That's why the common man and his beliefs and interests should not be considered to be ideal or even "good".
