where to get corn

I notice the cornmeal flatbread recipe in my crafting menu.
However, I cannot buy any corn seeds from the npc stall.

Do we need to wait till halloween, or can corn be found out in the wild now?

Corn will probably be handed out on Thanksgiving.

Or you can Raid for it... just look for the noob who is trying to grow his crops outside his p-claim... there will be a few... won't even have to leave a scent. just make sure you can see the 'ear' in the field... young ears of corn are practically useless... at least they were 'before'.

Else- I'm sure some enterprising marketer will sell you seed crop at a premium if/when Market is added... there's a ton of space left for it between what we have and the harbor!
