Can't access old account

For whatever reason, I can't access my old account. I've been playing Salem since the beginning of the closed beta, and I think I transferred my old account over when the new servers were implemented, but I can't even retrieve my account via email, because the username is not recognized.

If I can't retrieve my account, could I at least have whatever beta rewards are being carried over into the new server? I have my keys and associated email by way of proof.

You should PM loftar with relevant information. Are you getting any errors when you attempt to log in? I know I had issues logging in to the forums the first 6-8 hours or so after the server update and moves were complete.

If you haven't, you might want to:

Reboot your computer and/or reset your modem/router/gateway.
Flush the DNS cache on your system (on Windows, open a command prompt--Start>Run>cmd.exe--and enter the command ipconfig /flushDNS)
Restart your browser OR do a hard page reload (ctrl+F5)

The suggestions above are assuming you've played since the transfer of account information from the Paradox servers in 2012. If you haven't played or created an account since then, you'll likely just need to use a new account.
