Building upon this idea perhaps have a city wide decay rate applied to it as in most sieges the longer it lasts the worse off the infrastructure becomes and has to be repaired. It could be applied as a intensity field of sorts the closer the waste claim is to the town the stronger the effect and walls become more susceptible to it then crates.

Another one i thought of, probably been mentioned why does it have to be a waste totem but a cannon that has a setting time, unmovable though but once ready can fire once and blow out a chunk of the walls. That way if its only a small siege so 1 cannon you reinforce the area its most likely to be aimed at or when multiple cannons are built your pretty much screwed as in any siege if u have cannons firing on all sides of your base you are going down.

False. City wide decay would be awful, I'm all for a little pro-raiding but the point of all raids is not to destroy everything, just getting sieged for a couple of days would mean you've lost everything. Sure it would motivate you to go attack the waste claim but its probably also motivate you just to leave because ***** it its all lost now.

I'd like to see cannons, but not so much used as a replacement for a trail by fire. Blowing holes in the defenders walls is quite different from balancing,in fact probably the opposite.

So, you're saying that if you can't get the job done yourself, you want mechanics in place that will do the job for you... Great idea!
