From what I understand how it will work: the public map would be open, but to prevent people trolling the public markers, registration would be required to have access to them. All of this is up to how Evey wants to do it of course.

As the river rolled over the cliffs, my own laughing joy was drowned out by the roaring deluge of the water. The great cataract of Darwoth's Tears fell over and over endlessly.

You two sure are crusty today. Evey made something really nice and he's trying to do a public good in this next world for everyone. Give him a little credit, he put a ton of work into it.

Btw amazing job on "the video". 2500 hits and climbing.

I will be happy to help collect tiles for you. I have a working script similar to this (add/edit/remove markers, viewing is based on access, or able to be set to completely public but not editable) that I had made for my Haven group, but I'm more than willing to put it aside and just help on someone elses project.

Because yes, unlike "the other project", I prefer something public to all. And I have no ego issues requiring that I be the one maintaining the code or anything like that, my previous map project was only because the other one wasn't maintained any longer, and didn't exist for Jamestown. Roanoke had people sharing tiles, just no map online, I think.
