There is persistent advancement in PS2, so if it's a MOBA than every MMO is a MOBA.

And you're missing the point of unlockables, it's not about gaining raw power but about gaining options. The gameplay diversity (and thus fun) that sidegrades provide have been shown to work as powerful incentives in other games, I don't see why it shouldn't work in Salem.

Only stupid people keep playing after statement that Devs need to change gluttony, it was first sign that wipe is comming. Second sign was after they didn't wipe legacy items. Why should I waste few months on something that is going to be deleted and even Devs admited it was broken?

There is going to be another wipe after this. So by your logic I don't expect you to play this round either. Thanks for stopping by. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

Like you said in this thread if you can't go to quality go for quantity :)
Maybe it would make more people to start raiding sooner to get more fun after they hit the cap wall?

This is not true. In fact, almost nothing you have typed since your return is true. Considering you havn't played in almost a year how about you fire up the game before you start spewing lies all over the forums. Especially in I&I. I'm going to report your posts every time you post a blatent troll in this section. Not playing a game for a year and then lying about the state of it in I&I is clear trolling and in clear violation of forum rules.

I have always had the opposite opinion, maybe I haven't played HnH for too long. But from my memories it was much harder to get iron for brickwall in HnH than in Salem. And then burning thousands of bricks (it was 10 bricks pers wall section and like 50 for cornerpost?) was a tremendous effort for a solo-playing newbie.
And until this newbie finishes this task his camp is a free loot for any palibasher around, no?

I believe it takes much less effort for palibasher to get into camp protected by palisade, loot it completely and destroy everything, than it is in Salem to break into a camp protected by a stone wall with a bunch (20-30) of braziers properly placed. So at this point Salem is more newbie friendly

Well I am not sure I will be playing for more than just check new things if they won't make better core mechanic of salem.

Well, I can't imagine sidegrades, instead of "natural progression", working in a game like Salem. That would require complete game overhaul. Maybe they would, if someone makes a crafting MMO like this then we can discuss why is it fun or not.

Frustrating to see people arguing things that arn't true about a game they don't and/or havn't played since its mechanics changed isn't it?

There is nothing natural about this "natural progression".
