A Map of Roanoke

Postby Claeyt » Thu Feb 06, 2014 3:30 am

Well since the wipe is coming, Kwaad's agreed to host this map of Roanoke we have. It's probably about 75% complete on this one. We got it about 90% complete or so on the other map but we're done adding those to this one.

This map was created with the help of Eira Keldersdaughter, Kwaad, Silver, Shuyler Stumpwater, Zod, Kim Deal and Trent.

The Map of Roanoke

enjoy

As the river rolled over the cliffs, my own laughing joy was drowned out by the roaring deluge of the water. The great cataract of Darwoth's Tears fell over and over endlessly.

This is pretty well done. Care to share underlying code so we can host one for new servers?

Nice one !

Does somebody know a good lime spot (forage lime or lime pit) on Roanoke ? I'm wondering how many M&M I need to find it. For the granite 65 is enough , but I never found good lime with that : bad luck or just not enough skill ?

If someone want to try with granite here's my 11% blue spot , with roanoke north east of the picture:

Cool, my place is unmarked. I guess not paving anything does pay off.

Nice map, we had similar. Though North was more covered, even to the edges of the whole map. Also the expansion to south that happened was more explored:)
Btw -
DMZ (Ruins) : Stormy & Sam's ex base, there was a thread about it when russians raided. Was when term CG popped up, stayed low before that. Not L33l33 and Meteoriteman(whoever he is??)

Sorry , I have edited my previous post , it's some 11% blue / sulphur granite at this place , my salt one is crappier :?

For the price , the first pieces sell well on my stall (around 20 pieces at 350 silver). But now everyone interested got some , and no-one buys them anymore ( there're some at 250 silver in my stall for weeks.)

Thanks everone for the complements.

Again, to everyone. This is our incomplete map. Both server owners have tons of new tiles but were not adding anymore. Most of the marked stuff is wrong. They were guesses back this last summer. We haven't updated them in a long time. The guy with all the new tiles from the last 2 months and 90% coverage only has a private server. This one is not our complete map. We had the entire ocean done and much, much more of the South and SW. They were working on the NW when we got the wipe news.

I believe 80 is the max amount for lime and foraged Minerals but not positive. We maxed out at 9% for 2 of the limes and 8% for the others.

Yeah we found some 10%. It's just marked wrong.
