Not any trees for chopping and using in production/

Marshland does tend to be quite hilly, however there are a number of areas already flattened and abandoned in that area (two of which were done by me lol).
You can't see them in that picture, but there are indeed stone and clay deposits very close by, though as i said the lime situation is poor. Trees are easily available from the forests on either side of that narrow strip of marshland. There are many ruins along the northern border where players have taken advantage of this.

That would be hard to begin build village without any nears spot/About trees i can't agree ,that is good near autumn area but i can tell that is hard and spending more time to bring trees/at this area i think you can't build perfect .The most good area to begin build it is autumn and black forest biome/cause you have a lot of trees and animals and more spots that you can find at this green area/
In wiki wrote about green area.
Marshland looks lush and green but can be difficult for newly created characters to prosper in.

You can do anything you put your mind to, in my opinion :D

There was a nice little town along the northern border with decent resource access, sadly ruins now. Myself i started building a rather bizarre but in my opinion cool and somewhat ambitious for a noob place there, before deciding to make a more conventional place that would keep other players happier also. The issue of dragging trees is why almost everyone chooses to settle long the borders or just inside the forest.

Anyway regardless of it being convenient to build a large or perfect town or city there, i think the original poster is more concerned with whether this is a good area in which to spend his noobhood. And it is. If i were a brand new player again, i would go there and set myself up upon the ruins of that old town, and make my lime facility elsewhere.

I guess i should add that i'm probably quite biased toward this area as i had such a nice time there and nostalgia and all :)
