Oh my, you've revealed that Cheena is actually quite good looking. How will she ever survive the embarrassment?

go buy an 80s polytech if you want high quality nostalgia, expect to pay 1000 - 1500

if you just want "an ak47" that isn't beat to **** yet can find them in any gun shop in the country brand new in the 300 dollar range.

My buddy has a hook up with a FFL for dealer prices. I can get this bad boy for 700 + FFL fee

its either that or a spend a few 100 for a parts kit and rivet one together.

Want one of those or to expand my pistol selection.

riveting them together is a lot easier said than done unless you have the proper jigs and bending flats etc, even then you will ***** it up several times in the process before you get it right so you would need several flats. i have seen even good gunsmiths that have done it several times ruin a pile of flats

that said in most states if you make your own gun you do not have to deal with any ***** paperwork, that + the pride of ownership and learning experience is all the difference imo, my first gun was a 1911 pistol i put together from an essex frame and auto ordnance parts kit when i was 13 or 14, still my favorite because i built it and spent many a childhood evening fitting the parts with my ****** wal mart file set.

unless you specifically want an AK i would just get an AR with a piston upper if you are going to get one of the high quality american made ones like that simply because the pricepoibnts will not be that far apart and no matter how nice an AK is it is still an AK. go for the newer smaller caliber if you do get one imo, the old 7.62x39 is now more expensive and harder to find cases of than 5.45x39 and the 5.45 is far more accurate.

Yeah no joke, right now i spend around 20$ for a mag in my m1a.

Other then the m1a most of my arsenal is bolt action and shotguns for hunting. I was looking to get something more tactiCOOL. Now that you mention ARs I do have a lower and stock together for one. Just need to get a nice upper and sights. I might actually finish that baby off instead of the ak.

I picked up a colt 1911 not to long ago new for 700. I haven't shot that baby yet but she feels so damn good in my hands.

i really like the m14, prob one of my favorites.

if you finish off the AR instead go for a piston upper, you will be nearly as reliable as an AK with all the superior accuracy and modular capabilities of the AR.
