I am equally disappointed that I can't find a local artist who would take my coin in exchange for a picture.

Greetings, Sir

I happened by your fine artwork while strolling the boardwalk. You see, I have no artistic qualities of my own, but would really like to have a portrait commissioned by you, if I may be so bold to ask.

The portrait in question involves a scenario whereby I bought a clay pot from the Boston bazaar, and was subsequently tracked by those feathered fiends.

It is my hope that your fine works of art might prevent such a dreadful occurrence from happening to others.

I have my boy stationed in town with a purse of 400 silver if you find yourself inclined.

This is not good advice. The Tribe does not sell scented goods to anybody unless they are a criminal.

maybe because Belgear can't keep secrets?

Belgear is actually pretty damn good at keeping sensitive info quiet. Belgear just happens to be bad at drawing

Don't lock containers. As it stands, there's little reason for a raiding party to NOT destroy your entire base. But start locking **** and you can expect nothing but broken walls and ore crushers. If someone can break into your walls, they can lift chests/boxes out of your base to go through off claim/bust your cabinets to splinters. Your only hope is 1)proper knowledge of combat/defense tactics and 2)a strong base layout filled with 3)maximized brazier coverage. Or live on Plymouth and pay the treaty.

Raiders beet braziers by moving containers outside bases before they loot.

Locked cabinets will cost you the cabinet, but assuming you have no chests around... it will cost them a full measure to remove it.

sheds are best imo... if there are no chests... only sheds... then they will have to sort what they want taking BB damage the whole time...

Best- they will have to hike a fair amount to lose combat status... and return to the same BB grind to take more...

Build sheds... lose the chests!

Even better if they have to destroy it... then they'll have to pick it up off the ground and decide if it's worth keeping...then discard it... all the while under the braziers...

Poster wasn't looking out for cabinet builder... he/she was looking out for themselves losing BB all the while...

One crime my ass... crime to trespass...crime to open chest... 3rd crime to take (larceny) which will last at least 72 hours. Crime, crime, crime... cartoon is a big crock of ****... and the reader a gullible POS if you accept it as truth

if i am raiding and encounter locked sheds etc i just destroy all the containers in one pass without bothering to annoy myself worrying about picking anything up, if i see a cool hat or something i will snatch it on the way out but everything else can rot.

3'rd crime lasts 72 hours? At crime number 40 your somewhere around 16 hours or so, which can be walked off in under an hour
