Hey Guys
I am pretty new to Salem and i'm trying to understand the purity thing.
I have read up ALOT about it and i think i get the gist of it now my question is have we discovered the different formulas for determining the purity of the 2 different growing methods?
As i understand it there is also an element of randomness in the formulas
I've seen the formula for trees which is apparently
16.666% Pot
16.666% Humus
16.666% Water
50% Sapling
Is the above correct?
Does this also apply to other things planted in pots?
Secondly farms
What is the formula for determining the the purity of crops?
As well as when does the fields base purity get determined? when you build it and add humus or when you prep the field?
Basically if i build a new field and add 5 0% humus grow 0% seeds and then on the second cycle prep it with 20% humus will this 20% be affected by the 0% from the first preping?
Also does adding lets say 20% humus as a fertilizer also affect purity?
And then of course compost bins
As i understand it the boards you use give 100% to the humus
so 10% bin gives 10% humus
Now what if you have 1 python (16% worm efficiency) with 10% of the same dominant element?
