Albion Online(Alpha)

Did anyone else get their Alpha Key? Better check your emails. I got mine.

It is 3 in the morning so my apologies to those who have no idea what Albion Online is. This topic is mostly aimed at the others who are in the "know".

Lucky Shill. Grats.

Just put more detailed report of your expirience later. I had doubt about their combat system.

Yeah I just finished reading the "What we Hope to Achieve this Round" on their forums. I can already tell I haven't got a chance in hell in-game. The game is literally geared for Guild on Guild warfare, and I'm not part of any large guild anymore. And a lot of the big names are coming to Albion. This Alpha round will have 2 Castles and I guess the guild who controls either of the two by December 18th will unofficially be the winners, get an in-game item named after them in the live version. I know lone wolves will not stand a chance.

So cheers chaps! Here is to getting steam rolled by Guild zergs! First order of business, make tent, cut trees. Then wait, to be ganked and all my EPIC L3WTZ taken from my dead corpse. ¦]

I haven't activated anything yet so I am not under any NDA, I don't see one of mention in the email or the forum guide. But the Alpha round will run from:

Start: Monday, December 9th, 3PM UTC
End: Wednesday, December 18th, 11.59PM UTC

I'll try and update with whatever I'm allowed to once I sign any possible NDA's.

Nevermind!

Thanks, man.

Just watched some Albion PvP videos. It looks like WarCraft 3 played by some koreans.

Full Item loot is nice I suppose. But some kind of backwards progression on character advancement is needed or I foresee naked characters storming battlefields with nothing to lose.

Dumb.

Full gear loot means hours and maybe days of work lost from what I've seen in the Youtube videos.

Which means you just go into battle naked and lose nothing.
