What about 2-5 minutes a day was beyond your comprehension level?

Because it becomes more than 2-5 minutes a day, and it adds up doesn't it? New players shouldn't have to worry about learning a new game AND paying you to play. Why do you think more players leave the game than stay? Your hubris blinds your logic capabilities.

Is it any wonder that Salem has less than 200 hundred players at any one time playing on a daily basis? Most of whom belong to the 3 big groups that control everything.

Players could also just live on The Reservation for free and then they don't have to pay a Treaty. But I suppose you have a good reason on why a free base is a bad thing?

Nevermind... I just found this:

viewtopic.php?f=12&t=611&p=24122#p24122

When your primary focus when being an idiot is to come to the forums and complain that there should be built-in mechanics to STOP you from being an idiot, there is little that I or anybody else could do to get you stick around.

What's sad is that you came back from your last reply 20 minutes later to link a thread from A YEAR AGO in regards to something I messed up. Literally the day I started playing, I misclicked a claim. I'm sure you've never misclicked anything in your life.

A misclick does not equate to idiocy. But your general outlook towards everyone does equate to that. I'm going to take a shot in the dark and say you either have a) autism or b) aspergers. You live your life behind a keyboard and screen because you can't handle anything else. And this allows you to live a life of lordship vicariously through a game.

You're pathetic.

You left out the part where you cried again on the forums because you lost your fisherman's pole to drowning.

Quite pointless discussion... I played Salem for a bit, and I'm back here from time to time to check updates. Stoped playing coz of:

1. Chief - seeing that one group/person controls whole server and he kills whoever he wants isn't looking good for new players. Deny it but it's true. Player stops playing coz of you - I'm example.

In current state game is not really fun for new player. You can't catch up, but you can lose everything, including your character due to some bored griefer. In perma death game current system is lacking.

2. Lacking game mechanics.

Chief may have eyes all over but if you cut down all the trees then he can't find you, There ain't a maple near my base and I ain't had any issues yet. You can blame him all you want but I think it makes it more fun playing fugitive ;) permadeath raises the stakes so you actually have to give a *****, no more "oh well I died, I'll just respawn with no negative effects". Instead we get Roninswords WELP IM DED posts which are far more entertaining

You guys just don't get how freeing it is to be on a server under such close protection from the Tribe. While everyone continues to comment and kvetch about how unfair it is, boohoo etc, do you realize how long it's been since the last HoB thread related to a hit on Plymouth that WASN'T the Tribe?

What would you do with the silver that would otherwise be paid toward the Tribe? Or the iron bars which I understand the PayMaster gladly accepts? You want a server free from harassment, this is it! Plymouth, population made up of those brave enough to resist the Tribe or enlightened enough to embrace true freedom from griefing. Freedom always comes with a price, and those who pay reap the benefits.

The Tribe only kills Criminals. Obviously you quit because you wanted to be a criminal Griefer and I have made it so that you cannot do so. The game is better and the world is safer because of your absence.
