It's not pay to win because it's only 20%. It's just a way to save some time and give an incentive to buy to use your gluttony food under effect of this item. The problem is nobody really wants to pay anything. I wouldn't be surprised if Jorb and Loftar actually have part time jobs and that's why we're not getting updates. The game is probably running at a deficit. But keep whining pay to win... I see it differently.

How do you know how much is spent on the cash shop and how much they make? I have talked to lots of new players that buy silver and starter packs, and I'd say the number of premium hats I see around shows that plenty of old players buy **** too. The devs even have said that they are doing fine and that buying **** wont help them get anything done faster.

I know you're trying to drum up ideas to help, ZytX. That's great! Keep them coming.

I only have one question: sure, this will help newer players get up faster, but what will the results be for end-game players? We're effectively talking a 20% boost to humors for them, too, and some of them are already way to big. As some have shown, doing very large numbers isn't impossible with the current system.

You're right. I don't know. I'm just guessing and trying to help. It's not like I make any decisions. That's up to the developers. I can only discuss different ideas and hope to spark a debate that might inspire the devs.

Thank you.

Well, I think not much will be different. I suppose Binks would get to 1200 and everybody who uses this item would be a little stronger. I guess ultimately it will separate people more though between those who use it and those that don't and that's probably not a good thing. But at least it would generate some revenue for the devs and the brazier system can handle stronger characters, although walls have been a joke for quite some time. The devs should probably look into that too at some point.

Thanks for the question, Magicman. It was more stimulating than "NO P2W!" :P
I guess it's not worth doing after all. Let's look for some new ideas.

I am all for anything that gives a 20% bonus for RL $$.

Should be:

20% faster tree chopping
20% more combat damage
20% temp humour buff
20% Gluttony food.
20% less claim upkeep

etc. etc.

Roll it out Jorb! Start making some moneys!

The 20% boost to proficiency gain is a roundabout way to gain a boost in game. Mostly for S&C. However it's not a large bonus. I'd be in favor of similar gains - such as tree chopping / digging etc... for a period of time. Very indirect bonuses that save time are ok. Gluttony / pvp bonuses are not.

I was looking at slotting clothes today and realized that packages with clothes is probably what they sell the most.

This is simply not true. There is a craft-able armor in the game.
