Actually the biggest change was the purity overhaul. The population of Plymouth has been "refined" to eliminate undesirables and those who wish to live in a lawless frontier. Also, the population of the other servers currently being lower than what they were 10 months ago cannot be blamed on the Chief quite so easily.

Lack of updates and incomplete implementations are the primary reasons for the deflation in overall community activity in-game. If tomorrow Jorb were to release the gluttony/inspirational redo, livestock, brick walls, and witchcraft, the population of all three servers would soar despite the Tribe's continued existence.

That's what everyone said on Darkfall. population declined untill there was almost no one left and they couldent get any cash to fund fixing the server problems and the server died. a few messed it up for them and it's happened here

I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

You were a criminal.

Your friend was also a criminal.

You tried to live a life of crime and paid the ultimate price. Now you think that Salem should somehow cater to your heathen ways. No. If you don't like Justice and you don't like repercussions for your actions then this isn't the game for you.

Sefer,

There are plenty of other in-development games you can get into that are alpha/beta that don't have overpowered, ***** elitists claiming lording rights over the game lol. Not to mention these games have permadeath as well, but its entirely possible to kill the big dogs. My friends and I left Salem because it became exactly what we feared, and we lost hope to see the game we expected when Salem was first announced. Plymouth became ridiculous. BEFORE there was ever any 'treaty' we just died/lost our stuff constantly. As much time as we put into the game, it was never enough. We never had the opportunity to get anywhere worthwhile before being destroyed (and that was prior to ever being offered an opportunity to pay the outrageous ransom). Jorb has let this game become a ruin of its past possibilities.

Any game that is in development should be wiped prior to any official release, so that ALL players have a chance to start on even ground. But its ok, Salem will die as a never-was, because no new players will want to play. The Chief will drive them all away, and he will sit in his dark basement alone, lording over nothing. And Jorb will curse the day he sided with the elitist players. To make any game work and have a future, you need income. This is income that will never come for Salem.

Its a shame you couldn't play when there was a Treaty then and you didn't have to worry about dying over and over. Thank you for coming forward and showing the people what a dark time it was before the Treaty.

Sucks for the people who can't afford hours and hours of gameplay a day to make sure they can pay a tribute equal to that of their claim's silver cost. This game will end one day (sooner rather than later), and you will be left with nothing (except maybe a half chub you can salembate too, using old memories of your lording).

Shows how little you know. Most player claimstones cost a few bunnies a day. Meaning the Treaty costs somewhere between 2 and 5 minutes a day for the average Treaty payer. I understand that having a commitment to spend 2-5 minutes focus'd on a specific task in a video game is above your intelligence and dedication level, however, any reasonable and series gamer finds little difficulty in it.

I have noticed in most of your replies to posts aimed at you that you tend to insult someone's intelligence/dedication. I can tell you have no problem getting along with people once you get up from your keyboard. Did you ever think that some people just don't have more than an hour a day to play a game because they have real responsibilities, and yet you demand they give up hours a month to come up with your extortion fees? And those few silver a day to begin with certainly grow exponentially.

At this point, I could care less what happens to Salem because I have moved on since you and your merry band of assholes took the fun out of the game for the rest of my group. I just find it funny that you are so reckless that you don't care that you are essentially destabilizing the future of a game you seem to love so much.
