I just registered my account, and when I try to log in on the client it says "invalid username or password"

I have never played this game, and my info is correct. I even tried changing my pw, etc.

It's the same username and password that you used to log in to the forums. Both are case sensitive.

Thanks. I feel like such a nub. But a "Case Sensative" note on the titlescreen would be nice.

Your assumptions with logins should always be that they are case sensitive. (Why else create a username with capitals in it?) While in the end it doesn't make a difference to the server, as a user, it does create a small bit of extra security by keeping case intact.

Too many programs and websites anymore ignore this. It is a hassle for the users because mistyping a username will prevent a proper login, and the website, in the end, determines duplicate usernames and such by simply checking two records against each other in either all caps or all lower. (You'll find a few sites that still allow ubergamer and UbErGaMeR.)

and some games (read: runescape) don't bother with case sensitivity of their passwords. Let's just keep case sensitivity :)
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.
